Last Friday I was lucky enough to attend the opening of the Micro Gallery in New Milton run by Cultura Press. This is a very exciting development for the New Forest as it helps to draw together the various artists working in the area. It also provides a central hub for finding out about local events. Work on the The Poetry Forum‘s anthology is coming along nicely. The book content has been finalised and proofread. It has now been assigned an ISBN number which only leaves the cover design to be decided upon. So far various mock ups have been created and it will fall to the forum members to decide which suits them best.
Well 2012 is almost upon us and promises to be an exciting year for Ravenshead, we will soon be ordering our first batch of ISBN numbers and will be heading into print with our first publication, an anthology in aid of Alzheimer’s research.
